A Pacific Northwest local, Mel became a passionate advocate for homeownership and investing after buying and selling her first home. What interested her most was realizing the significant financial impact a good investment property can make, and learning how much having a home to call your own improves your quality of life.

After a decade-long career in operations and client service for creative companies, Mel earned her Oregon real estate broker license and transitioned to real estate full-time. Her method as a Realtor is to listen to her client’s needs and to treat everyone involved in a transaction with honesty and integrity. She loves getting to know her buyers and sellers, learning about their goals, what’s important to them, and ensuring they get the highest-level of service she is known for.

Her specialties are working with first-time home buyers, clients selling and buying homes at the same time, and downsizers. However, she is fluent in all aspects of residential real estate and investing. Mel knows that with all the technology available, one of the best skills a realtor can have is being a skilled negotiator and a caring human. Well-versed in the latest tech tools, Mel finds that being a human centered, collaborative agent focused on building trusting relationships gets her the best outcomes for her clients. She maintains both the CNE (Certified Negotiations Expert) and RENE (Real Estate Negotiations Expert) designations.

With her background in art and events, Mel brings creativity and an eye for detail. She enjoys remodeling projects, has a soft spot for old homes, helping first-time buyers, and guiding clients through their transactions. Staying on top of market trends and the latest tools for agents gives her an edge in researching and marketing properties, communicating, and negotiating on behalf of her clients.

In her free time, Mel is gardening, chasing kids around the park, exploring the beautiful PNW, or relaxing at home with her family, big dog, and flock of chickens.
